The eggs are hollow, Aliki, but they are filled with small chocolate bars, assorted in the case of the egg on the left with the Brazilian equivalent to the "Snicker's bar" (called Charge) on the right. I haven't opened the egg on the right, but I think the egg itself has peanuts in it, like the "Charge" bar.
Os caminhões e bicicletinhas são lindos, agora os ovos, to morrendo, absolutamente morrendo de inveja!!! Ovo de Páscoa aqui só um q os maigos trouxeram de NY :-(
Hi my name is melissa and I stumbled across your blog trying to find somewhere online where I can purchase those Brazilian Easter Eggs. My husband grew up there and REALLY misses them. What are they called? I would love to hear back from you luv2laf_lissa@hotmai.com! thanks so much!
I'm a Brazilian immigrant (used to say expatriate, have problems with this word now), living in the U.S. since 1996 with my husband and two sons (born in March 2002 and May 2004). I'm a mother, first and foremost, -- mamãe in my mother-tongue, hence the (e) of the blog title -- but after "ten years and two sons" I finally finished my Ph.D. in literature in 2008. After six years away from teaching (including a year home/cyber schooling my sons - 2009-10), I'm finally back in higher-education. I've been blogging here for eleven years, so welcome to my site and feel free to stay for a while and look around. Our lives are a roller coaster, never lacking in ups and downs! ;-)

Lovely pictures! Those Easter eggs look scrumptious. Are they filled, or solid chocolate?

It looks like you've had some wonderful weather for the kids to enjoy, too. ^_^ Sorry, my comments are lame. I didn't sleep last night.
Such pretty flowers--we have them everywhere too...I also love the two trucks parked together in conversation...
Love,
D.
Gosto muito de fotografias assim : pequenos apontamentos do dia ...

Lovely flowers! My boys have had the bikes and trucks out too. We have the same kind of tricycle, inherited from another family.
